Your The Young and the Restless spoilers weekly update for February 17-21, 2020, is here! Catch up on what you missed, get a sneak peek at what’s ahead, and find out how you can get involved in the soap opera community!
Everything was heating up on The Young and the Restless this week, with several situations starting to sizzle.
Kyle’s breakup with Lola had quite a few people up in arms, but the young man’s return to Summer was all that he cared about. It was a former flame that was vexing Amanda, though, with Ripley getting just a little bit too pushy, then being arrested for his trouble.
Speaking of trouble, the truth about what happened in Las Vegas finally dropped, after Phyllis’s attempt at eavesdropping revealed that Chance may have killed a man… by accident, of course. We spent this week in the frying pan, but the next one will bring us into the fire! Here are the spoilers!
A compelling clue sends Devon on the path to retrieve his money, tearing his attention away from other circumstances in Genoa City.
While he looks ahead, Victor has the opportunity to look back, reminiscing on fifty years of Newman Enterprises. The celebration isn’t without its darker side, though, especially not after Phyllis’s scheming is brought to light… and the balance of power begins to shift.
Things have certainly been ramping up lately, with more twists and turns on the way! There’s so much happening at once that it’s easy to miss occasional details… but that’s why Soap Hub is here to help. If you have any questions, thoughts, or even theories, don’t hesitate to share them with the community What did you like most about this week?

Y&R made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades’ worth of storylines has kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations, to Paul Williams’ (Doug Davidson) heroism, to the adorable love story of Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle), Y&R knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting, and soap operas are shrinking.
Y&R is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). Y&R airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
