Your The Young and the Restless spoilers weekly update for January 27-31, 2020,
is here! Catch up on what you missed, get a sneak peek at what’s ahead, and find out how you can get involved in the soap opera community!

Y&R Weekly Recap

We had something of an unpredictable time on The Young and the Restless this week, and it wasn’t just because of preemptions and schedule-changes!

Phyllis became quite the trickster when she tried to sabotage Abby’s date with Chase, accomplishing her mission as only she could. Tension also rose between Kyle and Theo, leading to a physical fight that gave Lola some fearful feelings.

Speaking of such emotions, Faith decided to move home for good, intent on being there for her mother during the trying ordeal ahead. We might have been in rough water before, but next week, we’ll be on the rocks! Here are the spoilers!

Y&R Weekly Teasers

Questions of desire and loyalty arise when Summer and Kyle find themselves sharing an intimate moment, this time with genuine emotions behind it.

While the heat rises there, things grow icy between Victoria and Billy, who seem unable to resolve their differences. That impasse may soon be broken, though, when Victor joins the fight from behind the scenes, offering his daughter some ammunition.

A Look Ahead

Well, folks, we don’t need to tell you that schedule-changes and preemptions are going to be a continued risk in the coming days… but we can tell you that Soap Hub will keep you informed of what to expect, and how you can still see every episode. If you have any questions, feel free to voice them.

In fact, we want to hear any thoughts you might have at all! What did you like most about this week? What are you most excited to see next week? Share it all with everyone in the comments, and remember, there’s always more in the way of soap opera spoilers, news, and exclusive updates in our free newsletter. Until next time, though, fans, thanks so much for watching! I’m Pierce Culver, and I’ll see you again soon!

The Young and the Restless’s History

Y&R made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades’ worth of storylines has kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations, to Paul Williams’ (Doug Davidson) heroism, to the adorable love story of Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle), Y&R knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting, and soap operas are shrinking.

Bringing the Drama

Y&R is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). Y&R airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
