Your The Young and the Restless spoilers weekly update for February 24-28, 2020 is here! Catch up on what you missed, get a sneak peek at what’s ahead, and find out how you can get involved in the soap opera community!
We found ourselves in the proverbial fire on The Young and the Restless this week, and it wouldn’t be inaccurate to say that someone got burned! Phyllis used the Las Vegas secret to her own advantage, blackmailing Chelsea for her shares of the hotel.
Of course, the setting for that scheme was the fiftieth-anniversary celebration for Newman Enterprises, which saw all of Genoa City’s elite gathered together… along with a gate-crasher or two, as it happened.
Ripley followed Billy to the party, and after seeing the man flirting with Amanda, he lashed out with a knife… but accidentally stabbed Victoria. The flames are rising higher, and next week, it will be an inferno! Here are the spoilers!
With Victoria’s fate still looking grave, Victor calls for the Newman family to unite, stating that past differences need to stay behind them. It’s a positive proposal on the surface… but some of Adam’s behavior starts to raise eyebrows, calling his motives into question.
Suspicions rise for Mariah, as well, after she begins to question Tessa’s loyalty… and the jealousy begins to cause a rift between them.
We’ve been on quite the roller-coaster, and it looks like another plunge is coming! There’s so much happening at once that it’s easy to miss occasional details… but that’s why Soap Hub is here to help. If you have any questions, thoughts, or even theories, don’t hesitate to share them with the community What did you like most about this week?
What are you most excited to see next week? Share it all with everyone in the comments, and remember, there’s always more in the way of soap opera spoilers, news, and exclusive updates in our free newsletter. Until next time, though, fans, thanks so much for watching! I’m Pierce Culver, and I’ll see you again soon!
Y&R made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades’ worth of storylines has kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Paul Williams’ (Doug Davidson) heroism, to the adorable love story of Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle), Y&R knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting, and soap operas are shrinking.
Y&R is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). Y&R airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
