Situations took a turn for the overwhelming on The Young and the Restless this week, and the problems kept piling on! Sharon was diagnosed with a tumor, and deciding to suffer in silence meant that several people started wondering about her sudden change in behavior.

There was bad news coming for Mariah, as well, when Tessa’s ex-husband showed up to whisk her away for a tour. Although the two young women agreed to stay together, this could end up being the end.

It was a beginning that sent Chloe into a rage, though, when she discovered that Adam and Chelsea were back together again. Now the pressure is on, and we’re set to see someone snap! Here are the spoilers!

Y&R Weekly Teasers

A chance discovery by Victoria sets her suspicions alight, and after seeking some advice from her mother, she decides to confront Billy, issuing a stark ultimatum.

Sharon has the chance to come clean, as well, seeking comfort from Rey as she opens up.

Things grow tense for Kyle, too, as he sees more pieces of his life being eroded by Theo… even potentially including his relationship with Lola.

The Young and the Restless’s History

Y&R made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades’ worth of storylines has kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations, to Paul Williams’ (Doug Davidson) heroism, to the adorable love story of Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle), Y&R knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting, and soap operas are shrinking.

Bringing the Drama

Y&R is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air.  The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). Y&R airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
