The Young and the Restless Spoilers, Tuesday, June 25: Devon Damage

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Devon in for a rude awakening. His latest panic attack brings up big time issues — none of which he wants to address. Well, until he’s willing to open up as Elena’s checking out! Make sure to tune in because this is one breakup you will not want to miss!

Devon’s (Bryton James) whole attitude leaves much to be desired lately. He’s short-tempered, snaps easily, and makes mountains out of molehills. Ana’s (Loren Lott) been on the receiving end of his fits more than once recently and it’s not pretty. Well, this time, it’s Devon who gets an earful!

Elena (Brytni Sarpy) decides it’s high time Devon realizes what’s really getting to him. Okay, sure, he’s admitted he feels Hilary (Mishael Morgan) everywhere in the condo. Heck, he’s even told her numerous times he’s having a hard time getting over her. But, let’s be honest. He’s not even trying.

Devon can say dating Elena is a step towards a new beginning, but it’s not. Not as far as Elena’s concerned.

He dresses her in Hil’s clothes, he pays her bills and surprises her with grand gestures — just like Hilary. Hell, he even sees his wife when they’re together.

Devon is a great guy but he comes with way too much baggage. He needs to stop, unpack, and really look at all the items in his suitcase. There are pictures of Hilary EVERYWHERE, her clothes still hang in the closet, and her perfume is where she left it on the bathroom counter.

Elena’s had enough! It’s one thing dating someone who is still in mourning, but it’s another to be second best to a ghost. She’s basically the third wheel to him and his dead wife and it is time for her to stop and get off this ride.

She puts an end to this relationship. If and when Devon ever really does move on she’ll be the first one in line. He just needs to open his heart, dig into his feelings, and do the work. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
