The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, September 18, 2020 features characters both remembering history – and being doomed to repeat it. Billy turns out not to be as stupid as Adam assumes, Sharon wonders what grudge Victoria is still holding, and Phyllis reminds Nick of how things used to be.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights
You can see why Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea assume Billy (Jason Thompson) is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. He let Chelsea con him into a relationship then tried to sell Johnny to him and Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Adam got away with killing (albeit accidentally) Billy’s daughter, and there was nothing Billy could do about it.
So you can see why Adam and Chelsea assumed it would easy to pull the wool over Billy’s eyes again. But this is a new Billy. This is Billy, post-gum-chewing. He’s still got a bit of Dark Billy in him. And when he discovers Chelsea in his office, he knows she’s up to no good. No matter how clever she thinks she is.
Stand By Your Man
Adam is not Sharon’s (Sharon Case) man, and she has already made it clear to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) – and to Adam – that she will no longer be standing by him. But does that stop Sharon from going into battle with her ex-sister-in-law, Victoria, over what she’s plotting against her brother? Spoiler: It does not.
Sharon may no longer be Adam’s therapist, but that doesn’t mean she still isn’t putting him first. This may be following the letter, but hardly the spirit of her agreement with Rey.
Listen Up
As determined earlier by her conversation with Jack (Peter Bergman), Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) believes that she knows everything and that she knows best about everything. Now it is Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) turn to reap the blessings of her wisdom. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
