The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, July 6 promise a week dedicated to Summer Fun – and drama! Kicking it off is an episode from July 27, 1999, when the senior Newmans throw a party to celebrate Cassie’s adoption, Paul and Chris have some celebrating of their own to do, and Kay cannot seem to leave Jill alone – and vice versa.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

After a heartbreaking custody battle, which led to Cassie’s (Camryn Grimes) testimony – and an Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actress – which we all watched in June, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) were finally able to adopt the little girl Sharon gave birth to (this is before Mariah was even a twinkle in any writer’s eye), and Nick considered his own even before the judge made it legal.

Let’s have a party to celebrate! But let’s have Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) host it! It’s only that they have the bigger house… and a pool… and staff…

What do you think? Post a comment!

Besides, Sharon and Nick may be the proud parents, but Victor and Nikki are the grandparents. And there is nothing more important than that!

Squabble Squad

Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Kay (Jeanne Cooper) has found something new to torture Jill (Jess Walton) over. And Jill, like Pavlov’s dog, hops right to attention. These two are like a neverending game of “She started it!” What they need is someone to come in and, in classic mom voice, tell them, “Then you be the one to end it!” That will not be happening in this episode.

We Are the Champions

While the Newmans bask and the Chancellors brawl, Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine (Lauralee Bell) will be having their own celebration. The couple gets some good news, and there’s no one else they’d rather be with. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
