The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, September 2, 2020, reveal more information about Amanda Sinclair and why she looks exactly like Hilary Curtis.
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) spends her morning reminiscing with Billy (Jason Thompson) about sitting on a window ledge looking as if they were going to jump but instead ended up screaming at the top of their lungs.
She then informs him she has to rush off to see Nate (Sean Dominic) because she promised to donate blood during his first clinic blood drive. The pair flirt as he asks her pertinent questions, including whether she knows her blood type. Why, yes, she does, because it’s the “very rare” B+.
This makes Nate stop and think. The only other person he knew personally who was B+ was Hilary Curtis. Isn’t that amazing? They look exactly alike and now they share the same rare blood type.
Amanda doesn’t even want to hear it. She’s sick of being compared to Hilary nearly every day. But to Nate, this is more than just a coincidence and comparison — this has to be a clue and mean something.
Nate tells his new maybe-girlfriend that there are ways to see if somehow she really is related to Hilary, like a DNA sample for one. (We are surprised Devon didn’t grab a piece of Hilary’s hair from a brush the moment Amanda appeared at his door and demand she give him a lock so he could perform his own DNA test.)
Amanda still wants to change the subject and just give her donation and be done with this entire Hilary conversation. Nate tells her pursuing this is up to her, of course, and Amanda looks like she may be considering it but her main concern is just moving onto a more pleasant topic — for now.
