The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, December 24, 2019, reveal Theo getting a rude awakening from his ex. He thought he was doing a good job hiding his feelings but Summer sees right through him.
That schedule “mix up” still rubs Theo (Tyler Johnson) the wrong way. He thought he was being meticulous with his agenda so messing up the date of an important meeting doesn’t feel right. Something is off. Something is wrong. And, he’s sure Kyle (Michael Mealor) is behind it all.
He turns up at Society to blow off some steam and drink his blues away — which is where he runs into Summer (Hunter King). They sit down and he opens up about his suspicions.
Unfortunately, she doesn’t share them. They all mess up sometimes, they’re mere mortals, after all. Plus, she knows Kyle. He may despise Theo, but be loves Jabot and wouldn’t take the chance on destroying an account.
When talk turns to Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) personal life and his marriage with Lola (Sasha Calle), a switch goes off for Summer. Theo isn’t mad at Kyle, he’s jealous of him! Not only is Kyle a powerhouse at the office, but he won the heart of Theo’s crush at home! Is that the reason Theo dumped her? Is it because he likes Lola?!

Summer tries to set him straight right then and there. Lola is married. She’s a taken woman and loves her husband to no end. She may be friendly with Theo, she may be an utter delight, but Kyle has the key to that heart. She warns Theo to stay far, far away. Chasing Lola could ruin Theo’s entire life.
Why risk what he has? Theo just got accepted into the Abbott family and is getting to know his brand new relatives.
He has a cool job at the family company, and being just friends with Lola could bring him and Kyle back to the way they once were. He needs to keep his hands off, his feelings to himself, and move on.
Will Theo take her advice? Probably not. He’s a lovesick puppy just waiting for his chance to shine. Maybe, just maybe, he may one day be the leading man in Lola’s life. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
