The Young and the Restless spoilers show Kyle’s New York love affair is about to have disastrous consequences. Tara is coming to town, which means the truth is on the verge of coming out. But, what if it isn’t actually the truth at all?

Theo (Tyler Johnson) claiming Kyle (Michael Mealor) is a not-so-proud papa does not necessarily make it true. Even if baby mama, Tara (Elizabeth Leiner), claims the same, it doesn’t mean it is fact. Only DNA can do that. What if the only Abbott-esque DNA that child possesses is from Theo and not Kyle!

A Secret Within A Secret

Is this the real reason Tara kept her child’s paternity from Kyle? It is one thing to be afraid of losing her titan husband, it is a whole other story to lie to the man you claim to love. Sure, the scandal would be terrible but Kyle comes from money and Tara would have just jumped from one Richie-Rich life to another.

However, if the child was Theo’s, then Tara had more than enough reason to lie. Theo is not exactly a silver-spooner (especially not back then). He was a nobody, a hanger-on, a party boy who somehow connected himself to the rich and famous without actually being rich or famous. Imagine the shame of blowing up your marriage to a very wealthy man by getting pregnant with a poor man’s child.

It would only take one drunken night for Tara and Theo to make this massive slip-up. We all know Theo has always wanted what Kyle has, including women. He went after Summer (Hunter King) and made a big play for Lola (Sasha Calle). Why not Tara, too?

Endless Consequences

Theo may think he is ruining Kyle’s life (and he may even succeed for a while), but the real truth has to come out at some point. He will obliterate Tara’s cushy life and have to take full responsibility for his son. No more party boy ways for Theo. He will have to step up, be a good dad, and battle one of the (supposed) richest and most dangerous men in all the land. Talk about a whoopsie! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
