The Young and the Restless Spoilers Spec: Teriah Saved By…Phyllis?

Few relationships are able to thrive when so much of the time is spent apart doing the long-distance thing and The Young and the Restless spoilers don’t show much of Tessa being in town beside her lady love, Mariah. And that may end up causing the young couple issues. But what if the answer to their problem is…Phyllis?!

Many fans are rooting for Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) to get their happily ever after but that’s really hard when Tessa is trying to have her career as a singer take off. So far, Mariah has been very understanding and supportive — after all, she wants to see the woman she loves happy and fulfilled.

But it’s not like it hasn’t been hard, especially when her mother Sharon (Sharon Case) was fighting breast cancer and Mariah was trying to hold everything together. The stress was hard and while Tessa did her best to help from afar (and sometimes up close), those days were hard on Mariah and on their relationship.

So how can Tessa follow her dreams and yet still stay in town? Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is all about the Grand Phoenix, as her wars against Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) have proven quite vividly. While she has had out-of-the-box ideas like the escape club, Phyllis may decide to look towards Las Vegas for her next big idea.

Vegas, in pre-COVID days (which in theory Phyllis doesn’t have to think about), carved a niche by luring incredible singing talents to serve in residence at their casino hotels. What if trying to capitalize on that, Phyllis hires Tessa as the big-name draw at the Grand Phoenix? Each raises the caché of the other and in the end, saves Teriah’s love story.
