Not many women enter the Genoa City canvas without falling into bed with Nick. While Sally has stayed away from the Newman heir so far, The Young and the Restless spoilers tease their time may be coming soon.
Sally (Courtney Hope) is prime for a hot and heavy romance. She thought Jack (Peter Bergman) would be her leading man but her series of schemes, arguments, and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) got in her way. In fact, Phyllis did everything she could to break them up. Darn that Phyllis!
Fans who know Sally from her days in L.A. know she is not going down without a fight. If Phyllis doesn’t want her with Jack, fine. Sally will go ahead and take Nick (Joshua Morrow) instead.
A Sally and Nick affair would make complete sense. It is not often a woman rolls through town without rolling into Nick’s bed. He is the town’s one-man welcome wagon and knows how to treat the ladies. Well, until he cheats, breaks their hearts, and gets overly involved in their lives even though it is none of his business.
Bedding Nick would work in Sally’s favor big time. Even a teeny-tiny seduction scandal would have Phyllis seeing red. Just imagine how a full-blown romance would go. Nick would wife her up and she could have Summer (Hunter King) calling her mom (insert endless evil laughter). Sally Newman does have a nice ring to it.
What if this went further and she was to bear Nick’s next child? Just imagine the endless uproar that would cause. She would cement her place with the Genoa City crowd forever.
Either way, this is all a win-win for Sally. She will come out on top even when the inevitable end happens. Sally does not need to keep Nick forever to destroy lives and put herself on the map. She just needs him for now and Sally will have a lot of fun while this lasts. And it will have Phyllis furious!
