The Young and the Restless Spoilers Spec: Is Victoria Behind The Chance-Adam Shooting?

The Young and the Restless spoilers do not tell us who shot Chance while aiming for Adam, but that doesn’t mean Soap Hub doesn’t have a few ideas.

Both Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson) are adamant and sure that Billy is not the shooter, despite Rey (Jordi Vilaluso) arresting him and Amanda (Mishael Morgan) not even wanting to defend him. She just wants him to take a plea deal.

We can understand why Billy is sure. After all, he is the one being accused and he should know his own actions. But Victoria seems even more sure and we don’t think it’s because she has so much faith in the ex she dumped once again early this year.

Victoria definitely hates her brother and hate and anger have been making her do decidedly uncharacteristic things this year. (We get that she wanted to finally be in charge of Newman Enterprises after being pushed aside so many times, but she’s also emerged as a premier b&*^h doing things just for the sake of hurting people.) Did this hate lead her to want her brother dead and her ex to go to jail for the crime?

Billy is sure he was set up by someone and it’s definitely looking that way. The gun came from the house he shared with Victoria and he’s attributing it to the break-in that only Victoria seemed to know about, as she told the story of the home intrusion we never actually saw onscreen.

Did Victoria pull the trigger herself? Probably not. Did she get someone else to do the dirty deed? Yes, there’s a good chance. While she could have easily hired someone seeing as she’s never hurt for money a day in her over-privileged life, she may have just convinced someone shooting Adam was a fine idea.

So, what happened to Alyssa (Maria DiDomenici) and why did she really disappear with barely a word after Victoria tried to become her new BFF, poisoning her mind against Adam (Mark Grossman) while digging for information to give Billy so he’d expose all as part of his brand-new journalism career?

Did Victoria convince Alyssa to shoot Adam and also supply her with the weapon? Quite possibly. It seems to be who she is now and would certainly give this story a new twist. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
