The Young and the Restless Spoilers Spec: Do Jill and Jack Have a Future Together?

The Young and the Restless spoilers don’t show much for Jack in the near future, but he definitely deserves a romance. During his early years on the show, he had an affair with a schemer named Jill. At the time, they were played by Terry Lester and Deborah Adair. Fast forward a few decades, and Jack is played by multiple Emmy winner Peter Bergman, and Jill is Emmy winner Jess Walton.

In between, Jack and Jill have been bitter enemies – mostly because Jill went on to marry Jack’s father, John (Jerry Douglas), and battle Jack in the boardroom long after she’d left his bedroom.

Most recently, though, the two old adversaries have been downright… friendly towards each other. Maybe it’s because, with parents like John and Dina (Marla Adams) and parent figures like Kay (Jeanne Cooper) gone, Jack and Jill are realizing they’re the old guard now. They’re the patriarchs and the matriarchs of Genoa City. And they kind of like it.

Also, let’s not put too fine a point on it, but, back before things got complicated, Jack and Jill were honestly attracted to each other. In fact, one could argue that one of the reasons that things got so complicated was because Jack and Jill never really stopped being attracted to each other. But the timing was never right. Could the timing be right now?

At the End Of the Day

Jill’s latest marriage to Colin (Tristan Rogers) just imploded rather dramatically – complete with arrest warrants and jail sentences. And Jack… Jack has been unlucky in love ever since Kerry (Alice Hunter) played him for a fool. He is too eligible of a bachelor to be alone for this long.

Jack and Jill were downright flirting at Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Chance’s (Justin Gaston) wedding. Will the show go there and see if this couple from the past has a shot at a future?
