The Young and the Restless Spoilers Spec: Death Of a Blonde

The Young and the Restless spoilers are awash in blondes (always have been). There’s Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Sharon (Sharon Case) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Abby (Melissa Ordway). But, recently, we’ve been noticing just how alike two of them look: Summer and Tara. And they’re both involved with another blonde – Kyle.

Kyle (Michael Mealor) is in the cross-hairs of a man we’re told is the most ruthless businessman ever. Ashland (Richard Burgi) is married to Tara (Elizabeth Leiner). A woman he’s already asked if Kyle has slept with. (Kyle has. And he’s allegedly the father of Tara’s son, Harrison.)

Ashland refused to do business with Jabot. And he instructed his minions to find out where the company was weakest, so he could go in for the kill.

Is that just a kill in the business sense – or the literal? What if Ashland finds out about Harrison and decides that the best way to hold onto “his” son is to keep his mother from taking the boy and leaving Ashland for Kyle? By killing her?

Mistaken Identity

Only, oops, he gets Summer (Hunter King) instead (King seems to book primetime jobs a lot). The cops will have no reason to think Ashland has anything to do with it. They will, obviously, focus their intentions on Kyle.

On the Other Hand

Then again, what if Summer is the true target? What if Sally REALLY decides to get back at Phyllis (Michelle Stafford)?

But what if she gets Tara, instead? Now, it’s Ashland who will be on the hot seat – until the truth about Tara and Kyle comes out.

Will Kyle try to get custody of Harrison? Will Summer continue to play supportive girlfriend – or will she make it all about herself? She was the one who was almost murdered.
