How far will Chelsea go to destroy Adam? The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest way, way, way too far. So much so, Faith is going to end up fighting for her life.

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) knows the walls are closing in. Constant visits by Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) have her on edge, especially his suggestion that she uses Connor to lure Adam (Mark Grossman) home. She’s not about to use her son as leverage, but we don’t think she is beyond hurting someone else’s child to make it happen.
Deathly Consequences
Teasers show Faith (Reylynn Caster) is going down for the count in the coming days. She becomes gravely ill and is rushed to the hospital where she will spend days fighting for her life as the minutes tick away. It will be a race to save her.
Could this be another case of poisoning? Much worse than Rey’s though. While many wonder if this is an accident due to leftover toxins from Chelsea going after Rey, we don’t think it is a mere coincidence. We think Chelsea sets out to take Faith down on purpose.

Just knowing Faith was on her deathbed would bring Adam (Mark Grossman) running to Sharon’s (Sharon Case) side. Of course, poisoning Sharon would do that too, but who would call Adam and let him know his beloved lady love was in the hospital? Sharon’s the only one he calls. So, Faith it is.
The Tables Turn In Unexpected Ways
While we can see Adam coming out of hiding, we can also see this plot backfiring big time. Adam had more than enough motive to try to murder Rey, but Faith is another story. No one will believe he would do such a thing.
Much to Chelsea’s horror, we can even see Adam coming out of this a hero. He steps up, gives up a kidney to his niece, and saves the day. The Newman family will be grateful, bygones will be bygones, and everyone will grow closer. Everyone except Chelsea.
It will not be long before the truth comes out and she winds up in jail. We can’t see any of our GC regulars posting bail after this stunt. Will this wild speculation really happen? Stay tuned to find out. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
