Adam will show up on the roadside and search for his text friend. Gum-Chewing Billy spends all day chewing gum and psyching himself up. He even messages Adam a picture of Hope’s handkerchief knowing it would force his hand. And, Billy’s right.
So, Billy does exactly what he plans to do. He gets out another piece of gum, slides on some driving gloves, aims the car at Adam, and puts the pedal to the metal. He’s going to do what Chloe tried all those years ago.
Unfortunately, the plan had one fatal flaw, Chloe figured it all out. She overheard Adam talking to Kevin and knew exactly what was about to go down. She shows up at the site and makes a life-saving decision that will change the course of everyone’s futures.
