The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, September 8, 2020, reveal Chance going above and beyond to help Adam, Devon connecting with Amanda, and Sharon finally hearing from her doctor.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

Sharon (Sharon Case) isn’t the only one waiting with bated breath for her doctor to call and announce whether or not her surgery was successful. Nick (Joshua Morrow), Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), and her kids are heavily invested, too.

Sharon distracted herself by coming running when Adam (Mark Grossman) called, and diving into his crises to avoid thinking about hers. But there is nowhere to hide as the dreaded call comes and now she can’t pretend anymore. She has to know.

Wife Swap

Amanda (Mishael Morgan) asked Devon (Bryton James) for some of Hilary’s DNA so she can find out if they’re related. Devon handed over some of Hilary’s personal items, as Nate (Sean Dominic) handed over some intel about Hilary’s death to Amanda, such as the fact that she was pregnant when she died. Once again, we’re not sure why this should make a difference, but Amanda sure acted as it would. She goes to Devon and they have a heart to heart talk. How long until Amanda not only has Hilary’s face but the heart of her man, as well?

First Man

While Sharon deals with Adam’s (Mark Grossman) mental health, and Victor (Eric Braeden) deals with his legal fate, Chance (Danny Boaz) takes on the task of protecting Adam from a different past crime, the one where they killed a guy in Las Vegas (not to be confused with the guy Adam killed as a child – or the child he killed as a grown man). With so many people going out of their way to help him, what are the odds Adam will eventually stop feeling sorry for himself? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
