The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, February 7, 2020, promise a fevered night as Sharon prepares to fight for her life. It is her last night of freedom before she begins the treatments that will change her life forever.
Sharon (Sharon Case) has stood strong since finding the dreaded lump in her breast. She has kept it together, moved forward like a warrior, and stopped herself from completely falling apart. However, as Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) points out, maybe it’s time for Sharon to let go. And, judging by her dreams, he is right.
Sharon (Sharon Case) wants a night to herself before the worst begins. She bans her girls from the cottage, makes sure Nick stays away, and even sends Rey to the couch. She needs some space and time to reflect and recharge, alone. Unfortunately, peace is not what Sharon gets once she is by herself.
This stand-alone episode will have her second-guessing her decisions to keep her cancer under wraps.
Sharon receives quite the treat when visions of Cassie (Camryn Grimes) dance in her head. Her beloved child is back to root on her mom and offer some loving words and advice. Sharon has a battle ahead of her and needs all the attention and adoration she can get.
Cassie’s point is proven time and time again during the episode. Sharon is taken on a wild ride full of twists and turns that leaves her more awake than ever before.
Sharon is shown what life through chemo is like without her loved ones around. Her journey will take her to Crimson Lights to be abandoned by Mariah, taunted by Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), and thrown aside by Nick.

Sharon even dreams of her body falling apart during radiation therapy. The people in the know are there but not to help. She’s got this, right? That’s what she keeps saying.
Thankfully, Sharon opens her eyes and takes it all in. She will realize the error of her ways and welcome her into her struggle.
