The Young and the Restless spoilers breakdown for Wednesday, September 19 reveal a day of celebration for Sharon and one of dark truths for Phyllis.
Sharon Graduates!
Sharon’s (Sharon Case) dreams come true when she not only walks across the stage for her graduation but gives the student address.
It’s a moment she’s worked hard for and deserves. But, what comes next is an even bigger shock. Sharon better enjoy this celebration because it could be her last one for a very long time.
Rey Eyes His Prey
Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) working overtime on the JT case and he thinks Sharon will be the one to break.
He tells Paul (Doug Davidson) it’s time the walls close in on the four women, and he thinks Sharon’s their best chance at getting to the truth. It’s time to wear her down until she spills all!
Will Paul agree to some extra sneaky tactics? Rey’s already rubbed him the wrong way more than once since coming to town and having his work undermined won’t sit well.
However, he may not have a choice. The case needs to be closed, and Rey has a better chance at getting the ladies to break.

Billy’s (Jason Thompson) massive gambling faux pas doesn’t go unnoticed by Kyle (Michael Mealor), who’s ready to pounce on him the first opportunity he gets.
However, getting proof isn’t easy. He has to get though Gloria (Judith Chapman), and Kyle goes low to get Gloria to give him what he wants.
His efforts will pay off in a huge way. He and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) have all they need to take Billy down. But, is Ashley ready to use it? She wants to save the company but doing that will take her little brother down in a way that’ll damage his entire future.
Phyllis Calls Billy Out!
Meanwhile, Billy and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) sit down for a heart to heart where they each spill some serious truth bombs. (Not all, but some.)
Phyllis starts with sharing her convo with Summer and her worries about her future with her daughter. Billy shares about his new six-figure gambling habit. It’s enough to make Phyllis flip out.
Phyllis was apprehensive enough about the gambling, but dropping this much cash on an unsure bet is more than she can take. Her eyes open to the horrors Victoria lived through, and it’s not a pretty sight.
