The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Wednesday, April 24 reveal a day of heartbreak in Genoa City. The Winters, Newman, and Abbott families reel when news spreads of Neil’s untimely passing.
The Winters clan will gather at the penthouse and try to sort through their shock. Neil (Kristoff St. John) is dead and their lives will never be okay again.
Lily (Christel Khalil) demands answers to how her dad passed away so young without warning. He was healthy and fine the day before and now out of nowhere he never woke up.
Nate did his best to calm the waters and explain what happened, but his words only made things worse. He believes Neil died of a stroke due to high blood pressure he may never have known about.
Devon blamed all the stress he put on the family and Lily pointed the finger at herself. She killed Hilary and all the events after led to their father’s death too.
Devon (Bryton James) shares a special moment with his father when left alone. He envision Neil standing before him and get to say his goodbye. Neil gave him a second chance at life and he left him way too soon.
The Abbott siblings start their day with snark but the rivalry comes to an abrupt end when Abby (Melissa Ordway) tells them about Neil.
All thoughts of bitterness and corporate combat are out the window. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) sit in tears and process their loss.

The death hits Nikki hard and she realizes how short life really is. She begs her husband to stop with the trips and the silence.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) jumps into action on Devon’s behalf. She prepares her show, prepare to take over the office, and gets ready for a press release. She then stops in to see Devon and share in his heartbreak.
