The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Thursday, August 20, 2020, reveals Victoria’s plans for HER company, Adam revisiting his past, and the Abbott family finding exactly what Dina needs for comfort.
More big changes are happening at Newman. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) needs a new COO and she has the perfect person in mind – her mother! Wait, what? Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) isn’t exactly a power player so why such a high-level position? Vicky claims it’s because her mama knows this business inside and out. But, is there something more going on?
Just wait until Victor (Eric Braeden) finds out about these plans. Can he talk his wife out of taking the promotion? If he was smart, he would use this all to his advantage instead of hindering Nikki’s chances for greatness.
Spoilers show Adam (Mark Grossman) is ready to jump right into his memories but Sharon (Sharon Case) slows the process down to a crawl. She wants to start at the beginning and work their way up. Is Adam patient enough to wait for the memories to come to him instead of diving right into the drama?
Speaking of Adam, Chance (Donny Boaz) goes to visit his bestie. He finds Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) alone instead. Good enough. He wants to know what’s going on behind closed doors and why his friend is so distant. Chelsea keeps her lips sealed but it’s obvious the couple is hiding something big.
The Abbott family comes across the old home movie reels and is quite pleased to watch a piece of their history — baby Jack’s homecoming. Dina’s dressed in her Sunday best and quite smitten with the baby.
Traci (Beth Maitland) and Jack take the footage to their mom and let Dina (Marla Adams) take a walk down memory lane (off-screen, of course). Will this be a turning point for the family matriarch? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
