The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Thursday, January 16, 2020, teases an emotional day in Genoa City. Sharon has her first visit with an oncologist, Nick shows his support, Mariah misses her woman, and Billy gets advice from a familiar face.
Billy (Jason Thompson) gets a pleasant surprise when he runs into Lily (Christel Khalil) at Crimson Lights. They have coffee, joke about their lives, and discuss just how far they’ve come – especially Lily. This time last year she was sitting in jail, now she’s out, divorced, and has a whole new life.
Sharon’s (Sharon Case) prognosis isn’t great but at least it’s not deadly — for now. She’ll need surgery and chemotherapy but her doc is hopeful she can beat this.
However, they want to do chemo first to shrink the tumor. It’s a small relief but doesn’t make the news easy to take. Sharon is sick and facing a devastating battle.
Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) has a meltdown worrying about her mama and sends Nick (Joshua Morrow) over for a visit. They’re both beside themselves with worry and it’s time to clear the air. Sharon isn’t ready to share her news but has no choice when Nick pounds at the door.
Today is Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) turn to become a green-eyed monster. She hears Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) new song and it will not be like her others. That’s because Tanner helped her put it together. Whoah there, isn’t Mariah her muse? The red-haired beauty will try to keep it together but she won’t. At least not for very long.
Tessa gets off easy but Summer (Hunter King) gets the brunt of Mariah’s bad mood. That will not go over well. Summer will put her foot down about the quips and bullying. Enough is enough and it’s …continue reading on the next page —>
Tessa gets off easy but Summer (Hunter King) gets the brunt of Mariah’s bad mood. That will not go over well. Summer will put her foot down about the quips and bullying. Enough is enough and it’s time to grow up. She even extends an olive branch and asks Mariah for help dealing with Kyle’s dramatics.
Meanwhile, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) shakes things up at the hotel. She has a quick tea with Amanda (Mishael Morgan) before setting her sights on Chance (Donny Boaz). He’s starting a new venture and she wants in.
Will Chance entertain the idea of partnering up with the baddie or turn her down flat? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
