Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) single status has his mom on high alert. He seems to be spending a lot of time on the sprawling property but not so much at the Ranch, which could only mean one thing — he’s hanging around Sharon (Sharon Case). He better not be trying to get back with his ex!

It’s My Way

As for Sharon, she nears her breaking point when it comes to people hovering. Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) leaving school, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) constantly being over, and Nick banging down her door every day is getting to her, especially when opinions and thoughts arise about her treatment plan.

Sharon makes it clear this is HER life, HER illness, and will be dealt with HER way. She and her doctor have the only opinions that matter and she wants everyone else to back off.

In a twist, Sharon decides caring for herself means shutting down Crimson Lights. Don’t worry soap fans, it won’t be forever. She’s taking a break from the grind and giving her beloved business a much-needed facelift.

Phyllis Turns Up The Heat

Meanwhile, love triangles exploded all over town, starting with the Grand Phoenix trio. Abby (Melissa Ordway) gets herself some revenge when she plays a good trick on Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). However, it backfires when Red takes her sad circumstances and runs with it! Abby may even find Chance with a bit of a wandering eye.

Meanwhile, Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) have a hard time getting back into the swing of things. She has it out with Theo (Tyler Johnson) about her time away and Kyle will stumble over his words trying to explain his trip to his loving wife.

Later, when Summer and Kyle come face to face, things go off the rails. Kyle makes it clear he loves Lola and is leaving Summer in the dust forever. They decide it’s best to keep their kiss a secret too.
