The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Friday, January 17, 2020, teases a tearful day for Sharon’s daughters, a new direction for Adam, and Billy getting a reality check from his new bestie. Grab your snacks and your tissues because you will not want to miss a moment.
Billy’s (Jason Thompson) blasé attitude towards his home life hits a note with Amanda (Mishael Morgan). She calls him out on not only avoiding Victoria (Amelia Heinle) but lying to her too.
If they are “just friends” why shouldn’t his wife know where he is and what they are doing? Unless, of course, he’s trying to sabotage his relationship. In the end, Amanda sends Billy home to fix his life.
Can he do it, though? Does he even want to? Victoria already has her suspicions about Billy and she’s freaking out pretty bad. That suspicious receipt still has her blood running cold and she turns to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) for support. By the time she meets Billy at home, she’s fuming and wants answers right there on the spot.
Expect a sea of overwhelming emotions at Sharon’s (Sharon Case) house. She sits each of her daughters down and gives them the news about her condition. Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) do their best to deal with the shock while Sharon says and does what she can to appease their panic.

Spoilers show some touching mother/daughter moments when Sharon gives her girls a rundown of how everything went down. Her chances of survival are attributed to early detection and she makes sure they know how to do a self-exam and exactly what a lump feels like.
Meanwhile, Adam (Mark Grossman) decides it’s high time he gets back to work, but where? Newman is out, Jabot seems like a stretch, and HW is probably out of the question.
There’s only one real solution — give Dark Horse another go. In a surprise twist, he goes to Victor (Eric Braeden) with the big news before he spills his plans to Chelsea. Will this start anther Newman family war?
Victor warns him to leave well enough alone, especially since DH was Nick’s company first. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
