The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Monday, December 23, 2019, reveals an episode full of holiday cheer. Summer celebrates her birthday, Kyle and Lola put up their tree, and Theo mixes his past with his future.
It’s Summer’s (Hunter King) birthday and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) snags the opportunity for some time with her daughter. She’s over the moon to celebrate with Summer and tries to keep the festivities light and happy. Of course, that does not last long.
Within minutes, the talk turns to Red’s sad life. She’ll do her best not to whine and cry but she’ll fail big time. Her life is in ruins, and she can only hide her sorrow for so long.
Get ready for some laughs when Kyle (Michael Mealor) tries to make the most of his first Christmas as a husband. He tries to surprise Lola (Sasha Calle) with an over-the-top tree. Unfortunately, his big surprise is too big to get into the apartment.
It’ll take some hard teamwork to make this happen but they’ll get it done. Spoilers show their special tree will (eventually) be adorned by some very special surprises from Jack and Celeste.
Meanwhile, Theo (Tyler Johnson) gets a taste of the good life when he’s invited to the Abbott mansion.
Jack (Peter Bergman) congratulates him on his hard work and introduces him to some very special family traditions. In turn, he’ll introduce them to some of his favorite Vanderway holiday treats.
