The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, January 2, 2019, tease a dramatic end for 2019. Lives change forever as the clock strikes midnight.
It’s New Year’s Eve and the who’s who of Genoa City gather at Society to ring in 2020. The Abbotts and the Newmans are all there to put their differences aside and celebrate the holiday, including Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Adam (Mark Grossman).
Phyllis nearly stirs up trouble when she pulls Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) aside. Red issues a stern warning about being with the likes of Adam and then drops a professional bombshell. Red did her a solid by sounding the alarm bells about Adam and now it’s time for payback. Will Chelsea cave to her demands?
Phyllis’s drama doesn’t stop there, though. She has a moment with Chance (Donny Boaz) and warns him again that she knows all. Watch out, big boy, this secret is ready to explode.
Chelsea’s night goes from bad to worse when Nick cuts her loose. He’s had enough of this back and forth and decides to let her go. Be with Adam, he says. It’s where she belongs anyway, right?
Speaking of Adam, he and Victor (Eric Braeden) will share a special moment. They joke about Victor keeping a closer eye on his meds and then look at Adam’s life now. He’s come a long way since that whole debacle.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) does not have a good time at all. Billy’s absence isn’t exactly making her heart grow fonder. She’s beginning to wonder if something is seriously wrong with her man. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tries to put her fears to rest but even she admits something’s off.
Sadly, Vicky has every right to worry. Billy (Jason Thompson) boycotts the party and spends his evening …continue reading on the next page —>
Sadly, Vicky has every right to worry. Billy (Jason Thompson) boycotts the party and spends his evening with Amanda (Mishael Morgan).
It’s the only place he feels like himself, he says. Will he stay at the bar all night or realize the error of his ways and kiss Vicky at midnight?
Over at Crimson Lights, the coffee shop is open and there’s a small party there too. Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) will sing, Sharon (Sharon Case) will shine, and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) turns up the heat. Teasers show the intimate gathering will be a fun time for all. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
