The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Wednesday, April 28, 2020, takes fans back to July of 2004 for the second half of Katherine’s intervention, Daniel’s paternity bombshell, and Sharon’s fight to clear her name.
Katherine’s (Jeanne Cooper) intervention ends with her loved ones giving up hope. They walk away from the GC Queen and leave her to her own devices. She, of course, goes right back to drinking.
However, this isn’t a normal bottle session. Kay gets blackout drunk and imagines the men of her past coming back for a visit. Rex (Quinn K. Redeker) and her ‘grandson’ Phillip (Them Bierdz) make appearances and beg her to give up the booze. Lord knows drinking almost killed Rex and getting behind the wheel tipsy took out Phillip. (Not really, he faked his death and moved to Australia, but that’s a story for another time).
Meanwhile, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) throws the tantrum of the century when he confronts Danny (Michael Damian). How could his dad lie to him his whole life? Well, he’s in for a shock when he finds out what really went down! His mother shared some secrets but Danny has a whole shocking story of his own and how he loved Daniel too much to give him up.
Back at the apartment, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) laid into Christine (Lauralee Bell). She’s full of fiery rage and Christine better watch out! Threats (or are they promises?) are made and Phyllis has no qualms about backing them up.
At the same time, Sharon (Sharon Case) has it out with Grace (Jennifer Gareis) over Cameron. Her frenemies choice in men leaves much to be desired and Sharon warns her the romance could cost her. Cam is a dangerous man doing awful things and Sharon is out for revenge.
Teasers reveal Nick (Joshua Morrow) lays down the law with Cameron. Nick swears to clear Sharon’s name and make sure Cam goes to jail for a long, long time.
A young Drucilla (Victoria Rowell) looks back on her temperamental younger days after lecturing Lily (Christel Khalil) about hanging around the likes of Devon (Bryton James). A boy from the wrong side of the city is not the friend Dru wants for her daughter – at least until she realizes she was a teen just like him once upon a time.
