The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Wednesday, September 9, 2020, reveal Sharon’s setback, Chelsea and Alyssa facing off, and Phyllis on the verge of greatness.
Sharon (Sharon Case) thought she was ready for anything when she went to the doctor, but she was not ready for this. Her cancer is spreading and while the outlook is not grim, it is not great either. She has a long road to remission and it’s going to be a grueling journey.
This is a huge blow with terrifying consequences. She has months of treatments ahead and there is another invasive surgery on the table. It is a lot to process and Sharon is a mess. So much so, she even texts Adam.
Speaking of Adam, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) has a mess on her hands when Alyssa (Maria DiDomenico) shows up. She is fed up with all the manipulations and lies and lays all the cards on the table. She knows exactly what went down in Kansas and is ready to tell the world Adam is a killer.
Chelsea has no choice but to open up and spill everything she knows. Yes, Adam murdered AJ, but does Alyssa know the reason why? Chelsea tries pity, manipulations, and threats, but Alyssa stands strong. Even Chance showing up doesn’t phase Alyssa. It actually adds more fuel to her fire.
It looks like the hotel wars are coming to an end, at least where The Grand Phoenix is concerned. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is close to having all her ducks in a row to buy Abby (Melissa Ordway) out. Sounds great, except Abby’s not going to believe it until the money hits her account.
Speaking about property ownership, Summer (Hunter King) is all about creating her perfect home. It’s not easy, though. Her ideas versus what the contractor says just are not adding up.
Lily (Christel Khalil) is ready for some big changes around the office. She’s fresh from a conference on diversity and wants to see more fresh faces in the company.
