The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Thursday, April 23, 2020, reveal Theo having an ah-ha moment, Adam plotting revenge, and Victoria rising up.
Expect the unexpected when Theo (Tyler Johnson) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) find a level of understanding. She’s at Society picking up food, he’s licking his wounds, and they strike up a conversation.
Things are snarky at first until Theo puts the pieces together and realizes Sharon (Sharon Case) is sick. He can relate to Mariah’s pain, he was there for his mom when she was ailing too.
The Chancellor crew is also at Society. It’s Amanda’s (Mishael Morgan) first day so why not start out in a restaurant instead of an office? They’ll discuss the company, each of their roles, Traci (Beth Maitland) eventually coming on board, and keeping on top of trends.
Billy makes it clear he wants to project what’s going to be hot instead of piling on already popular topics. It shouldn’t be hard, right? He’s a cool cat (or at least he thinks he is). And Theo is as cool as a kitten and overhears the entire conversation. Will he use his social media skills for an in at Chancellor or try to steal Billy’s plan and take it back to Jabot?
Meanwhile, Victor (Eric Braeden) faces off with the ladies in his life after the epic confrontation with his son. He tears into Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) over spilling the beans and opening the whole can of worms. He told her the truth in confidence and now look what happened!
Next up is Victoria (Amelia Heinle). The Newman princess rips into her father like never before. She worked her whole life to earn the top spot only to be pushed aside over and over again.
What is it going to take to gain Victor’s trust? Why can’t he let her in? When will she get her job back? She’ll only like the answer to one of those questions. The rest will leave her slightly shattered.
As for Adam (Mark Grossman), he’ll slink back to the penthouse and begin scheming with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). Neither of them believes Adam’s a killer and they vow to fight back and clear his name. Adam is out, but only for now. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
