The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, September 14, 2020, reveal Summer living the dream, Lola looking for a fight, and Adam’s drama continuing to take center stage.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

Summer (Hunter King) sets up a surprise romantic evening with her man, but Kyle is the one doling out the grand gesture. Talk of the future leads to talk of marriage and he pops the question!

Does this mean the couple is engaged? Yes. There’s no ring (unless you count a twist tie), no big announcement, and they are keeping it to themselves for now.

What Now, Lola?

Lola (Sasha Calle) and Theo (Tyler Johnson) were not doing as well. He shows up to apologize and it goes fine — until it doesn’t. Lola picks a brand-new fight for no apparent reason, which sends Theo reeling. What’s really behind her temper tantrums? Is there more going on than meets the eye?

Adam Leaves His Family

Adam is also causing issues, which is not really a surprise. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) offers him all the love and support in the word, but it’s not enough for the mopey baddie. Adam (Mark Grossman) breaks her heart and leaves. He will send for his bags later.

Sharon Comes to Her Senses

That wouldn’t be so bad, except his first stop is at Sharon’s (Sharon Case). She’s already dreaming of him so it’s quite a twist of fate he shows up at her door. Thankfully, Sharon remembers she has a boyfriend before it’s too late.

Much to Adam’s shock, Sharon cuts ties as his therapist. She has enough going on and it cannot be mixed up in his mess much longer — especially if she wants to stay with her uber-jealous boyfriend.

Team Takedown Heats Up

Adam may not be a free man much longer, anyway. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson) continue plotting Adam’s downfall, despite protests from their families. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tries to strike fear into her daughter (nice try, mom) and Jack (Peter Bergman) begs his brother to leave the Newman family alone.

The talks do no good, though. Billy and Vicky have their mind made up. All they need now is to have Alyssa write the story. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
