The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Friday, October 16, 2020, promises a tissue-worthy day as the Abbotts say goodbye to Dina.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights
It is time for the family to gather at the mansion and stay close to Dina’s (Marla Adams) side. First, the Abbott children take a little break. Traci (Beth Maitland) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) grab a coffee at Crimson Lights. Sure, Dina’s dying but Abby announces a new family member may soon be on the way. She and Chance (Donny Boaz) are considering having a family.
Ashley Says Her Peace
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) seeks a moment of solace at the park. Her peace will not last. Victor (Eric Braeden) finds her there and follows her home. He wants to say goodbye to Dina too. (Yes, The Mustache thinks he is entitled to share Dina’s precious last moments.)
He gets his chance but after he’s done Ash lays into him. What’s his plan with Adam? Isn’t it time he cut ties? These are important questions, of course, but is this really the right time? Yes, Victor, it is.
Lauren to the Rescue
Jack’s (Peter Bergman) opportunity for some “me” time comes when Lauren (Tracey Bregman) calls. She and Micahel (who has a very new look, btw) have the necklace. Jack runs to the office to borrow the gem and make his mother happy.
Jack arrives home with Kyle (Micahel Mealor) in tow. This is when everything gets very, very real. Dina is ready to let go.
You’ll Always Be In My Heart
Dina makes her final grand entrance into the Abbott living room. Jack presents her with The Teardrop of Love. Receiving the much-coveted jewel brings Dina back to herself, but only for a few minutes. In true Dina fashion, she wastes no time telling each of her children how much she loves him. She even remembers Traci’s name!
She then says a heartfelt farewell to her children before closing her eyes and passing away in her favorite chair. Dina fulfills her afterlife destiny by walking toward the bright light and the love of her life, John. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
