The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Wednesday, June 23, 2020, takes a look back on Bryton James’s Emmy-Winning performance from October 16, 2006. Devon’s struggling with his hearing loss but it’s not stopping him from saving his family.
The drama with Carmen (Marisa Ramirez) is wearing Dru (Victoria Rowell) thin. Not only is she facing charges but she loses her job too! Oh, what a terrible twist. She tries to cover her tracks to keep her children from the drama but they see right through her facade. And, when the find out the truth, it’s Devon (Bryton James) who goes off the rails.
Devon heads straight to NE to have a heated confrontation with his mother’s enemy. Dru’s an angel and there’s no way he’s going to sit silently by while Carmen ruins her life. He has some choice words and she better listen up! Oh, and listen she will, at least until Neil (Kristoff St. John) comes across the explosive encounter and busts things up.
While Devon’s bravery is commendable, him going it alone all around town terrifies his parents. They’re all just getting used to Devon’s new circumstances and aren’t giving the teen enough credit. Devon can do much more than they give him credit for!
Meanwhile, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) gets robbed and it’s not good news. She’s tracking some rather expensive and elusive pieces of artwork and when her portfolio goes missing it’s not good news. She, Brad (Don Diamont), and Colleen worry about the consequences of the thievery.
Luckily, Colleen has an idea of who would break into Vicky’s car. Could it be her hunky professor? She brings up the Gurgaon Reliquary to her mentor and waits for his reaction. Could it be her hero was really her enemy all along?
Jill (Jess Walton) may be the CEO of Jabot but Jack’s (Peter Bergman) pulling all the strings. He’s set up a fake company, bought Jabot in secret, and installed Mr. Kim (Eric Steinberg) to play the new owner. The faux head honcho backs up all Jack’s plans and steamrolls Jill over and over again. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
