The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Friday, May 22, 2020, promise tears of joy, words of anger, and some big warnings. It’s back to December 7, 2006 when murder suspect Devon became a member of the Winter’s family.
It was Devon’s (Bryton James) adoption day and the Winters family was on cloud nine. Devon recently got some of his hearing back and Dru (Victoria Rowell) was thrilled to be the first voice he heard. What better days to make herself his official mother!
Michael (Christian LeBlanc) is more than happy to take a break from Devon’s murder case to attend this event. Sharon will be there too because she’s just like family to Dru. Before the end of the night they’ll be in front of a judge getting the legal stamp of approval.
Speaking of that murder case, Paul (Doug Davidson) decides he’s done working with Michael and quits. However, he is not putting down his PI hat. He recruits JT (Thad Luckinbill) as his trusty sidekick so they can prove Devon’s innocence. They better move fast. Bardwell is aiming to jail Devon and everyone he holds dear.
Speaking of family, Jill (Jess Walton) and Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) wait on the all-important DNA results. They take a break from sitting by the phone and head to the club with Esther. They run into psychic supreme Sylvia Brown who has some warnings for them.
Gloria (Judith Chapman) has a new grandbaby, a bucketload of widow money, and a new gig coming up. She’ll be a judge on a new fashion show and she cannot wait. She was born for fame, after all.
The Abbott siblings were not as thrilled. Jack (Peter Bergman) is seeing red, especially after finding out Ash was offered the job too. Oh, the tackiness of it all!
When it comes to fashion, no one knows high-end clothes better than Lauren (Tracey Bregman). She’s a busy lady with a boutique, a new baby, and needs an assistant. Why not call up her old friend Amber (Adrienne Frantz) from LA? The scandal queen is more than happy to get away from the FC crowd for a calmer life in GC. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
