The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Wednesday, January 1, 2020, promise a bombshell beginning to the year. It’s Nick’s birthday and it definitely will not be a day of big wishes and good cheer. In fact, before the end of the day, his life could fall apart completely.
It’s Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) birthday and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) wants to make it special. She gives him a family photo of them and the boys, kisses him, strokes his ego, and then starts a fight. They bicker about her still living with Adam and she ends up storming home and locking lips with her boyfriend’s brother.
Sounds awful, right? It is, but it’s not all her fault. Adam (Mark Grossman) makes another passionate plea for her heart and he’s the one who leans in for the kiss. She stops him in his tracks but the damage is done and they both know where they stand.
As for Nick, he heads over to Crimson Light for some birthday treats with some of his other favorite gals. He spends time with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and Summer (Hunter King). It’s a special time for a special guy.
Meanwhile, drama unfolds at the hospital when baby Joy is admitted. Elena (Brytni Sarpy) jumps into action to care for the tiny tot while Devon (Bryton James) assures Sasha he’ll cover all their expenses. She’ll open up about her guilt, shame, and heartbreak after almost abandoning her baby.
Speaking of that baby, does she belong to someone in Genoa City? Maybe. Something definitely happened in Vegas and it seems Red has the inside scoop.
