Elena’s (Brytni Sarpy) insecurity leads to more trouble in her life she brings on herself. Just as Devon (Bryton James) is realizing Amanda (Mishael Morgan) is nothing like Hilary (except her face), Elena is at the clinic having a quickie with Nate on the exam table.
She regrets it immediately and maybe the alcohol made them do it, as actor Sean Dominic alludes to in The Young and the Restless spoilers preview promo he posted to Instagram.
There’s sure to be fallout from this little interlude. How long can Elena and Nate live with themselves and what they have done to Devon? And will we get truly soapy from this with Elena ending up pregnant, beginning a paternity puzzle?
YR made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Paul Williams’ (Doug Davidson) heroism to the adorable love story of Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle), YR knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.
It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). YR airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
