The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Picking Battles, Choosing Sides!

The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Friday, August 10 reveal Cane refusing to heed Nate’s advice and determined to fix Lily’s mess all by himself… whether she wants it or not.

Plus, Summer offers Kyle a challenge he can’t refuse, and Ashley tests Jack’s loyalty.

Cane Will Explain!
Nate (Brooks Darnell) advised Cane (Daniel Goddard) not to think he’s the only person who can fix the Lily/Devon problem. Cane nodded politely, then kept right on keeping on.

Lily (Christel Khalil) sobbed about Devon (Bryton James) never forgiving her, Cane deflected, talking about her being fired as if that’s the most important thing in the world. Tone deaf much, Cane?

Then, when Lily found out she might be facing 20 years in prison, Cane flips into super-hero mode. He is going to save his family! Get out of the way, world! And watch the cape.

Summer Time
Summer’s (Hunter King) plan to catch Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) in the act of cheating on Billy (Jason Thompson) with Jack (Peter Bergman) was a big ol’ bust.

Kyle (Michael Mealor) doesn’t want to tell her I told you so… Oh, wait, yes he does. He totally told her so.

But Summer isn’t done yet. She still intends to get her way. And she’s willing to bet Kyle on it.

Jack said he was out of the Jabot business, but Ashley (Eileen Davidson) isn’t quite ready to let him go yet.

She needs her brother’s help. Remember how Jack wanted to do anything he could to make Ashley forgive him for the whole blood-Abbot clause? Well, Ashley finally has something in mind.

It proves to be a test of loyalty for Jack. Will he side with his sister? Or, is that entire part of his life over now that he knows John isn’t his father?
