The Young and the Restless spoilers for November 17, 2020, reveal Phyllis telling Nick something he really didn’t want to know.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

Nick (Joshua Morrow) happens by Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) having another talk in the park and he hears them discussing their last talk. Of course, he demands to know what’s going on. Faith gives Phyllis a look that just begs her to keep her mouth shut, but Phyllis finally spills the tea that Faith was drinking vodka. And, as it turns out, she did it more than once.

Nick is understandably livid and asks to speak to Faith alone. While he doesn’t lash out at her, he does try to have a sensible father-daughter talk and brings up her big sister, Cassie. He reminds her that the sister she never knew got behind the wheel because a teenage boy (Phyllis’s son, Daniel) was drunk and that led to her death.

While Faith understands what she did was wrong (although we are sure she will do it again), she begs Nick not to tell Sharon (Sharon Case). After all, Mom has been through enough this year. Why worry her about this? Stupidly, Nick agrees to keep the mother out of the loop, which isn’t a very good idea at all.

After Nick leaves Faith in the care of Mariah (Camryn Grimes) at Crimson Lights, he makes another Nick move and heads straight over to Phyllis’s room at The Grand Phoenix and lays into her for not telling him the truth as soon as she learned what Faith has been up to.

Bad move Nick. Really bad. Phyllis is not having it and tells him that she is not to blame for Faith’s actions (true) and maybe he should pay a little more attention to his daughter so he knows what’s going on first-hand. She has a good point and leaves Nick stewing, but this is a time when Nick got what he deserved. Now, go take care of Faith before she gets into even more trouble. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
