The Young and the Restless Spoilers
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, January 20, 2020, reveal Abby and Chance with a big night planned but nothing will go their way. Someone is out to ruin their night and she’ll succeed every step of the way.
Chance (Donny Boaz) is suited up and Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) all sparkle and shine and ready for romance. It’s date night for the new couple and they are definitely looking forward to dinner, drinks, and turning put the heat. It’s just too bad someone else has other plans.
Their first stop will be a five-star restaurant they had to pull strings to get into. Soon they learn their reservation was canceled and are sent away. Whatever will they do? Don’t worry, these two can have a good time anywhere and opt for burgers instead.
How did the mysterious cancellation happen? Well, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), of course. There is no way she’s letting the glitzy and glamorous Abby have her way with a man like Chance. Boy, will she be irked when she finds out Abby made the best of that bad situation.
A quick trip to Crimson Lights will be the only peace and quiet Abby and Chance get. Once they head back to the hotel for a private nightcap, things will go off the rails. They’ll no sooner settle into Abby’s suite and pour a drink than the fire alarm goes off!

Red will taunt and tease Chance about fate getting in the way of his new fling. Chance will blame Phyllis for the false alarm. Phyllis is two steps ahead though. There’s no proof she was behind the prank. Red’s hands are clean, much to Chance’s dismay.
Phyllis is a smart cookie. She knew there was some tomfoolery going on with the alarm and made sure to cover her tracks.
