The Young and the Restless Spoilers Raw Breakdown: May 31st

The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) raw breakdown for Thursday, May 31st promise good news and bad news in Genoa City.

At Crimson Lights, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is over the moon with joy after she learns the insemination was a success. She confides in Phyllis, and her friend is shocked Hilary hasn’t told Devon. The mother-to-be explains she is waiting for the perfect moment, but when will that be?

At home, Nick (Joshua Morrow) is bothered by Victor’s threats against him and makes a startling confession to Sharon. However, she is dubious. His shifting interest worries her. Finally, Sharon asks: what is the real reason he wants to leave town?

At the hotel, Neil notices Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary getting close and puts Devon on the spot. What is going on between them? The young business keeps dodging the question, but Neil won’t back down. Are they together or not?

At Crimson Light, Shauna spills all to Charlie about why she is running away. She feels abandoned and jaded her parents left her with her aunts while they care for her drug-addicted brother. Charlie assures her it’s temporary, they did not leave her.

However, Lily walks in on the conversation sending both teenagers to panic. How much of their conversation did she hear? Luckily, the doting mother didn’t hear anything and the teenagers are relieved.

It’s a lie. Instead of going to school, Charlie and Shauna do something else.

Elsewhere, Jack tells Nikki he is prepared and ready to move forward in his new venture! She is stunned by his plans and warns him a company that competes against Jabot and Newman is a tall order.

It’s a task he is willing to take, and the first step is to have a meeting about it. Jack assures Nikki she’ll see him in the morning news. A short time later, Jack is at HW and ready to hustle for his new venture.

At Newman, Abby is reprimanded for taking time off to go to Miami. The sisters clash and Abby insists she wants to see Victor to explain herself. However, Vicky makes it clear, Victor is busy and Abby needs to shape up.

Vicky puts Abby in her place. Speechless, Abby retreats, but she’s not done with Victoria!

At HW, Jack presents his plans to Neil and Devon. They’re intrigued, but the details are questionable. Jack wants a partnership with the Hamiltons to start the new company.

In the meantime, Nick makes a startling confession. He wants to leave town because Victor threatened to take his son away from him. Sharon is shell-shocked and more than disturbed by the Newman patriarch’s ultimatum.

Elsewhere, Charlie and Shauna burst in HW just as Hilary is about to tell Devon the baby news. Interrupted, Hilary sends the teenagers away and returns to Devon. Sadly, he left the office and won’t be back until the next day!

Elsewhere, Neil gives Jack the bad news. They reject Jack’s business venture. It’s too risky. However, he advises Jack to go back to Jabot and fight for it!

At home, Sharon assures Nick Victor is bluffing. There is no way the Newman powerhouse will do that to his son. Nick is not as confident as Sharon. Unfortunately, Sharon needs to head out and leaves Nick at home.

Across town, Sharon is surprised to see Jack at the bar and drops by to check up on him. The friends unload on each other, and they both come away from the conversation with renewed motivation for their goals!

At HW, Charlie and Shauna hatch a plan to keep the runaway safe. However, it’s risky and getting caught means trouble! She’ll sneak in his room and stay there until they tell Hilary. What about telling Lily?

At the park, Nick visits with Victoria and spills all. He has a great job offer in San Diego and wants to move there. Victoria doesn’t buy that it’s strictly the job taking him away from Genoa City. There has to be something more.

Elsewhere, Hilary finally manages to catch Devon and updates him on the news. He is blown away!
