The Young and the Restless spoilers for November 23-27, 2020, tease Victor’s latest scheme, Lily attempting to broker peace, and so much more.
Victor (Eric Braeden), in hopes of preemptively striking against Adam (Mark Grossman) and his self-destructive behavior, placed a distress call to Sharon (Sharon Chase). When she arrived at their meeting, Victor revealed that he wanted her assistance in having Adam committed, involuntarily, to a psychiatric ward!
Sharon agreed, and a petulant Adam is sanctioned… just as he and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) were planning to abscond from Genoa City. An angry Chelsea makes her way to Sharon and demands some answers from her (perceived) love rival. But will Sharon offer the explanation that Chelsea is seeking?
Lily (Christel Khalil) arrives at Devon’s (Bryton James) abode for Thanksgiving and is heartened by his reveal that Amanda (Mishael Morgan) might join them later in the evening. But Miss Sinclair won’t be the only guest.
Turns out, Lily invited Nate (Sean Dominic) to join them as well. And he arrives at Devon’s door before the flustered host has a moment to digest the information.
The cousins are perfectly civil to one another upon meeting, but Lily insists that it’s time to call a cease-fire. She points out that the men are family and reminds the two how fleeting life truly is. Do they really want to continue this feud for the foreseeable future?
In other Genoa City news, Jack (Peter Bergman) learns of Theo’s (Tyler Johnson) revenge plot, and Billy (Jason Thompson) and Lily’s partnership takes an unexpected turn. But, in keeping with long-held tradition, Lily will be forced to defend Billy and his character.
Meanwhile, Abby (Melissa Ordway) will be faced with a tough decision… luckily she’ll have Ashley (Eileen Davidson) to confide her troubles to.
Finally, Nina arrives in town, Summer (Hunter King) has a change of heart, and Sharon reminds everyone of the importance of giving back to those less fortunate.
Note: The Young and the Restless will be preempted on Thursday, November 26, in recognition of the Thanksgiving holiday.
