The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, May 26, 2020 reveal another day of classic villains week with an August 14, 2003 episode featuring Paul’s ex, Isabella, mother of his son, Ricky, and a classic Genoa City nutjob.
Once upon a time, Michael (Christian J. Le Blanc) was a bad man. No, not the time when he sexually harassed, stalked, and tried to rape Christine (Lauralee Bell). The time after, when he returned to Genoa City all reformed and good.
Except he wasn’t. Not the way he is now. Back at the start of the century, Michael wanted to break up Christine and Paul (Doug Davidson). So he brought Isabella (Eva Longoria) to town, so she could keep Paul… entertained…while Christine was out of town. Isabella did such a good job that she ended up pregnant.
But – plot twist! Even though Chris caught Isabella and Paul kissing and walked out on her husband, and even though Paul decided he now wanted to play house with Isabella and their child, Isabella didn’t really want Paul. She wanted Michael. She told him he was the father. Michael didn’t want Isabella, though, and back she went to Paul.
Chris learned that Isabella coming onto to Paul was all a plot she cooked up with Michael – what, did he think he was that irresistible? Chris told Paul. He dumped Isabella and came back to Chris – who suddenly wanted him again.
Isabella didn’t like that. Which prompted her to come up with a plan. Isabella made it look like Christine had killed her. Then, while everyone thought Isabella was dead, she went after Christine. Clever, huh? It’s like reverse double jeopardy!
Will Paul and Michael figure out what’s going on in time, or is Chris on her own? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
