The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, September 23, 2019, promise the not-so-shocking twist you will not want to miss. Dry your tears and put away those tissues because there is no reason to mourn.

A Bombshell Plot

The Newman family thought they had it made when they plotted against Adam (Mark Grossman). The second they realized he was trying to kill Victor (Eric Braeden) they knew what they had to do — frame him for murder.

That will teach him a lesson, right? Nope. They did two things wrong. First, they underestimated the bad boy. And, second, it’s not murder if the victim isn’t dead.

Was there ever any doubt Adam would call their bluff? Setting up Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was a mindblowing move and right up Adam’s ally. When in doubt, deflect, defend, and do some damage control. And, boy, does his plan work. Victoria is under arrest and the Newmans will have to admit defeat to get her out of this mess.

Victor’s Very Much Alive

The only way to get Victoria out of trouble is to either prove Adam set her up to take the fall or admit there really isn’t a dead boy, after all.  It looks like the latter is what Nikki will aim for when she bursts into the ranch living room to tell Victor their daughter was cuffed and taken down to the station.

Yes, you read that right. Victor is, in fact, alive and it looks like all the Newmans are in the know. So, just how deep does this scheme run. If the family planned this set up it’s reasonable to assume Nate (Sean Dominic) is in the know? Maybe even Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Paul (Doug Davidson) too.

What Comes Next?

They say it takes a village to raise a child. It’s going to take one to bring down the prodigal son, too. Make sure to stay tuned in as this epic battle of wits brings more twists and turns as Adam and Victor continue to outmaneuver each other. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
