The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nikki’s Jaw-Dropping Indecent Proposal

The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) reveal Ashley’s harried day getting that much weirder with an unexpected proposal from Nikki!

With plenty to prove, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) gets busy making her mark on Newman and the world, and then she’s interrupted by a strange call from Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) demanding they meet within the hour.

Intrigued, Ashley agrees, but she wants details. However, Nikki keeps the particulars about the subject of their tete-a-tete a secret. No matter, Ashley continues takin’ care of business and doesn’t let Mrs. Newman’s odd behavior throw her.

When Nikki finally arrives at the club, she suggests they take their meeting in a more private location. Confused, Ashley agrees.

Although Ashley feels the other shoe is about to drop with Nikki and her jealousy, nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, her jaw literally drops when she hears Nikki describe what basically amounts to an open marriage between herself and Victor.

Say what now?

Yes, in matters of family and business The Newmans are a united, unstoppable front. However, in matters of the heart, they’ve both moved on — very far on.

Nikki reveals her previous resentment of Ashley occurred because she was younger and driven by her need to be the absolute center of Victor’s universe. However, now she’s older and wiser… oh, and a whole lot happier.

He’s all yours, Ashley. Please, feel free to rekindle your deep connection with The Mustache and all your shared history (like Abby). Nikki’s moved on and is so much better off. Victor lives his life; she lives hers. Perfect harmony! Except… why is (pimp) Nikki trying to control who Victor sleeps with?

After a moment of incredulous disbelief, it’s thanks but no thanks for Ashley… Really. She’s fine.
