The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, April 27 tease Nikki continuing to risk all for Victor, while Amanda may be taking a bigger risk than she knows, and Phyllis believes there’s no risk in deceiving Nick.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) was not at all pleased to learn that Victor (Eric Braeden) not only knew where his on-the-run son was, he was also actively participating in hiding Adam (Mark Grossman) from the police.
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) is suspicious. Michael (Christian Le Blanc) is suspicious. However, when push comes to shove, Nikki lies for Victor. Not for Adam, mind you, but for Victor. Because when the gaslighting has been going on since the early 1980s, you don’t even notice when it’s happening anymore.
Despite Victor warning her to stay out of his business – he had nothing to do with her father’s death 30 years ago, you got that? Amanda is continuing to dig into Newman Enterprises’ shady political dealings. She is doing it to protect her grandfather. But what she finds may end up doing the exact opposite. Will she still continue to defend Sutton if she becomes more and more convinced he’s guilty of killing her father?
Nick (Joshua Morrow) would really like Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to get over her obsession with Sally (Courtney Hope). Unlike Phyllis, he doesn’t think she’s doing it all to protect Summer (Hunter King). Phyllis dismisses that Nick just doesn’t understand what a threat an ambitious redhead can pose to Genoa City.
The only way to convince Nick is to prove it to him. And the only way to prove it to him is to lie to him – temporarily. Oh, Nick won’t mind. He’s forgiven Phyllis for worse. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
