The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, February 28, 2020, reveal another Newman family war brewing. The NE top spot is up for grabs and one son wants it and the other doesn’t want him to have it. There is trouble brewing and Victor better be careful with whatever choice he makes next.
Spoilers show Victor (Eric Braeden) has a lot to mull over after Adam’s (Mark Grossman) offer. Does he bring his troubled son back into the fold or close the door on that chapter and lock it forever? He decides to bring it to his family.
It should come as no surprise Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) think it’s an awful idea. This is not good, not good, indeed. Why would Victor ever trust the likes of Adam again? He’s proven over and over he is only ever out for himself.

Teasers show Nick taking the whole thing a little too personally. Is Victor telling him about Adam to lure HIM back in? No sir, no way. Nick is not stepping back into that office. Having Adam at the helm would be bad but having to step up for his family himself would be way, way worse.
Victor has quite the dilemma on his hands once Nick refuses to return. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) may be coming home by the end of the day but she needs to recover for quite a while. Nikki will not put up with him hanging around the office, Abby (Melissa Ordway) doesn’t have the CEO experience, and so, the only one left is Adam.
Unless, of course, Victor has an ace up his sleeve and someone else in mind. Who says it Newman’s temporary CEO has to be a family member? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
