The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, July 24, 2020, promise a look back to Hilary becoming a Hamilton. She and Devon take their vows despite all the drama playing out around them.
It’s Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) wedding day but before she can walk towards her future, she has to make peace with the past. She goes to see Neil (Kristoff St. John) to ask if she and his son really have his blessing.
To his credit, Neil’s all about letting go, or at least that’s what he says. However, it’s quite clear he’s not over Hilary, the affair, or Devon (Bryton James) betraying him. Nevertheless, Hilary goes after her destiny, she dawns her dress and meets Devon at the altar.
Devon’s pre-wedding moments aren’t so great either. Shady character, Colin (Tristan Rogers) is lurking about and he wants big money from the billionaire. He knows Devon’s secret and it’s not one the groom wants getting out.
The charming union brings out the best of some and the worst in others. Lauren (Tracey Bregman) is just coming off a tawdry affair and she and Michael (Christian LeBlanc) are trying to mend their marriage. Well, sort of. At the very least, they are trying to get alone in public.
Speaking of scandalous behavior, one too many eyes are on Harding (Chris McKenna). He’s a whole heap of red flags and red alarms. Paul (Doug Davidson) thinks he may be mixed up with Marco and Summer (Hunter King) makes a shocking connection between the detective and Austin’s (Matthew Atkinson) death. Did the cop kill her husband?
Thankfully Paul has Dylan (Steve Burton) on the case. If anyone can figure Harding out, it’s Paul’s son. Of course, he’ll have to balance following Hardy and taking care of his pregnant partner, Sharon (Sharon Case). Don’t worry, if he fails, the Scooby Gang will be right here to solve this mess themselves.
Speaking of Marco, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis (then Gina Tognoni) are still on edge over that whole ordeal. Victor (Eric Braeden) shook up their world by bringing him to town and they don’t trust him to make things right. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
