The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, June 24 tease the return of one of the most powerful families in Genoa City history! Could it be? Are we really getting the Chancellor family back? It looks that way – starting with former fan favorite, Chance!
The heartbreaking death of Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) seemed to wipe the Chancellor clan off the map. Phillip III ran to Australia all those years ago with no intention of ever coming back.
And, his son, Chance joined the Army and rose up in the ranks, seemingly with no intention of ever returning to this Wisconsin town.
The last we heard they were traveling the world together and were so far away they couldn’t make it back for their matriarch’s funeral.
Well, all that is about to change. Word on the street is Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV is on his way home!
Why now, though? As it turns out, he’s Adam’s (Mark Grossman) big Vegas contact! Oh, yes, the pair were wheeling and dealing and having quite a time. However, this brings up way more questions than answers.
Why did Chance not say anything to anyone about Adam being alive? Or, why didn’t he tell Spider he was really Adam Newman? Unless, of course, Adam never lost his memory after all.
Could it be Adam and Chance were working together this entire time? Chance’s career took him to big-time highs at the Pentagon which makes it highly unlikely he would be hanging out with Vegas poker stars without an end game.

Something big is going on and it looks like it’ll be full of twists and turns. More drama is on the way for Victor’s chosen son and it will not be pretty!
Fans should be on the lookout for this homecoming within the next few weeks. This is an exciting time for viewers with so many faces returning to the fold. This is different, though.
It’s one thing to bring back familiar favorites, it’s another to reignite an entire dynasty. This may fill the void everyone has felt since the day Mrs. Chancellor climbed the stairway to heaven.
