The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Tuesday, August 7 reveal Jack receiving yet another surprise, Ashley comforting Neil, and Lily following through on her promise.
Good News/Bad News
None of Jack’s (Peter Bergman) surprises have been particularly good lately. You’re not an Abbott! You’re not a Chancellor! Your good friend is dead! Your sister still can’t forgive you!
That’s why he’s leery of seeing Lauren (Tracey Bregman). But, she has some good news for a change! Lauren is open to moving Fenmore’s away from Jabot and taking it to Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) new company, which Jack supports.
Jack is thrilled, in spite of the fact that it puts him at odds with Billy (Jason Thompson). This is totally about business, of course. It has nothing to do with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni)….or her affair with Billy during her marriage to Jack…
That’s What Friends Are For
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) returned to Genoa City because Kyle (Michael Mealor) told her Billy was up to something.
But, she’s just in time to comfort Neil (Kristoff St. John), whose life is imploding. Or, at least, it feels like his family is.
Ashley knows all about feuding families and proves a good shoulder to cry on. Followed by more? Will Ashley take Neil away from all this before it gets even worse?

Neil’s family is taking sides now that they know Lily (Christel Khalil) they know that Lily ran a red light and caused the crash which led to Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) death.
Cane (Daniel Goddard), Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) are on Lily’s side – even if that means Charlie and Shauna (Camryn Hamm) are over.
But Shauna is Devon’s (Bryton James) star witness. And Devon wants Lily to pay for what she did. To that end, Lily turns herself in.
Will the police believe it was all an accident or will she end up paying for Hilary’s life… with her own?
