The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, November 5, 2020, reveal Dina’s will reading going as expected until there’s a little bit of unexpected.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

The Abbotts gather with Dina’s (Marla Adams) lawyer to hear her last wishes and are surprised when Theo (Tyler Johnson) turns up. It seems he was invited because he is indeed a part of Dina’s will. Dina’s wish was for Abby (Melissa Ordway) to read the will aloud and she did.

Jack (Peter Bergman), Ashley (Eileen Davidson), and Traci (Beth Maitland) got all her Mergeron money, but her grandchildren, Abby and Kyle (Keemo, anyone?) also got some treats. Kyle (Michael Mealor) was bequeathed her art collection and Abby snagged her grandmother’s Paris apartment. It also turns out she left something for her son, Eric, which now will go to Theo.

It’s a beautiful pen that she got from Stuart Brooks, Theo’s grandfather whom he never met. Theo was touched to get this item although it was small compared to what his cousins got. Kyle, of course, was very angry. Why did he deserve anything from Dina at all? (Um, because he was her grandson too? Maybe. Just spit ballin’, Kyle.)

In typical Kyle form, he throws a mini tantrum, and Summer (Hunter King) has to talk him down from the ledge. She defends Theo, explains he lost his grandmother too, and he has a right to anything she may have wanted Theo’s father to have. Summer is pretty disgusted by Kyle and his immaturity and explains that Theo is also a human being with feelings. This does nothing to help Kyle’s quest to win Summer back.

However, someone else might. When Summer sees Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) making eyes at Kyle, she perks up and realizes she may have more competition than she ever thought. Of course, Theo may have eyes for Sally, as the merry-go-round continues… The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
